What's the show about?
If you are a Homeschool Mom, you're probably familiar with Charlotte Mason and her Mother Culture philosophy that stresses the need for mothers to take time for themselves.
I believe this is a need for all humanity, to take a second and wonder about the things God is laying on our minds.
Think about it: What if every thought is deeper than a day dream? What if it's a seedling from our Heavenly Father, our one true muse, pointing us to something we need to know? Let’s embrace the freedom to wonder, take the invitation to explore and learn everything He has to teach us in this amazing journey of life.
My Personal mission as a speaker: 1. To speak hope to women by pointing them to God, the source of all hope. 2. Inspire homeschooling moms to be a beautiful channel of grace and influence in their homes and communities. 3. To extend help and encouragement to women going through circumstances of doubt and discouragement. 4. To promote this amazing opportunity to homeschool our children by sharing my experiences educating three typical and one special needs child. 5. To equip women with the tools to build a successful brand through blogging, marketing and social media. 6. To support authors who have a God-given message by teaching them ways to draw readers to their work and, ultimately, toward our Heavenly Father.
My Speaking topics: Fragile Women: How to Strengthen the Women You Know This presentation will help you find effective methods for impacting the fragile women around you. I understand fragile. In fact I’ve even felt broken at times. Despite my personal encounters with life shattering situations like abuse, infidelity, post-partum depression, and a failed adoption, I have found my hope in Christ. My healing didn’t come with judgment or advice from others, but with gentleness, a firm grasp of God’s word, and true friends who determined to erase all judgment. We can be an encouragement to those in need. Join me as I discuss creative ideas you can employ to touch the hearts of the women in your life who are craving a little dose of hope.
Showing Forgiveness When Your Heart Is Still Broken We all know we have to forgive, right? God’s word tells us to. Yet, how can we find the obedience to forgive when our hearts are still broken? In this presentation I’ll use a biblical foundation to explain the spiritual benefits of forgiveness while also addressing relevant medical statistics on the importance of forgiveness on our physical health. After learning why to forgive we’ll also explore some practical tools for reaching a place of forgiveness, even if you’re still hurting. Most importantly, I’ll point to the one who is big enough to hold all our hurts and heal those damaging emotions that we seem powerless to control.
The Fun and Flexibility of Homeschooling Year-Round School ALL YEAR?! It might sound like a nightmare at first, but I hope to show you a very different picture. Come explore the fun and flexibility of year-round homeschooling. In this presentation I'll address the up side of schooling year round. Join me as I share personal examples and statistics to demonstrate the flexibility and academic improvements that can occur with year round schooling.
