For older children: Can you make a few batches of scented dough for your sibblings or church nursery to use? This blogger has a brilliant trick for making several scents quickly. Try these clever touch experiments. When we are really effected emotionally, we may say we feel touched. Can you explain this phrase? Are there any smells that you really love? I especially love the scent of lavender, lemons and aloe. I also love the scent of Windex. Any scents that you truly hate? My daughter hates onions. I hate the smell of cantaloupe. I have actually thrown up at the scent. Mom: Consider making some sensory tubs. Look on pinterest. There are a ton of brilliant ideas there. Watch this short clip from Pinocchio. Discuss this story and give examples of some real life consequences of lying. One last challenge for the little ones: Can you make a list or a collage of animals that have longer noses?
