![]() Sheila Gunlock, author of the children's book, Groovy Granny and the Character Bees, joins me this week to close out my series on valuing Senior Citizens. We'll be discussing the how's and why's of leaving a legacy behind. This will be an excellent and important episode for all ages. About Sheila: Sheila Gunlock has been acting and directing since she was 9 years old. Sheila has had the privilege of performing for:
She has been a speaker for the last 23 years for churches, schools, community events, conferences, church camps and professional events. Sheila is the author of Groovy Granny and the Character Bees and has written and published puppet scripts used for missions in Taiwan, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and the United States. Sheila has also been a small business owner for nearly 10 years. She and her husband began their heating and air conditioning business in April of 1985. Back then she was just the service techs wife, now she's the HVAC Lady. Sheila's desire is to encourage women through the examples in Scripture, such as Abigail (1 Samuel 25:3-44) and Lydia (Acts 16:14), that women have a definite role in shaping their community and leaving a legacy for those yet to come. We all leave a legacy with every breath, Sheila wants to challenge communities to examine the legacy they are leaving behind and to take their strength from the legacy Christ left us, by the inspiration of the saints through their lives and testimonies.
