Today's show:

Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.   Psalm 149:3

Today we dove into the Word to learn the significance and uses of the tambourine.

The Musical Minute:

The picture to the left is of the tambourine I painted for my daughter for her 7th birthday.

For a simple and fun craft, affix some jingle bells to a paper plate with yarn or twist ties. Paint the plate to give it a pretty design like my daughter's tambourine.

Mommy, put on some music and lead your little ones in a tambourine dance.

Go around the room in a circle while naming some exciting events in your family that are worth celebrating, declare the victories God is doing in your lives and shake your handmade tambourine with a grateful heart.

Here is a coloring page that you can paint online or print out and color.

Can you memorize a scripture about the tambourine? Consider creating motions to go with it, maybe even a dance.
