The Artist:
Blending In Whimsy Studio is the name of my visual art studio. Well, technically my physical studio is the bedroom floor of my historic rental home in Oklahoma. However, Blending In Whimsy is my website/ "cyber studio" name and the handle I go by on all of my art-related social media activity. If you are a fan of my art then you are a fan of Blending in Whimsy.

Visit my official portfolio site at http://blendinginwhimsy.wix.com/artstudio
Follow my art process on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Periscope (@BlendInWhimsy)

The Dreamer (Hobbies and Random Facts):
Heather's hobbies include spending time with family, writing, reading, painting, foraging, and blogging. Heather and her husband, four children, three cats, and two dogs all reside in Oklahoma.

10 Things You Might Not Know About Me:

  1. I have had five pregnancies (four live births) though I was told by doctors that I could not conceive due to severe endometriosis.
  2. I was born and raised in Michigan and moved to Oklahoma in March of 2007.
  3. My first job was as a Library Page. I started out shelving books in the 700s-900s but could get easily distracted in the 800s, so they moved me to the children’s department where every book was familiar and exciting.
  4. I was accepted to Richmond, The American International University in London, to study Art History. I never made it there.
  5. I am fascinated by graphology and can tell a lot from someone’s handwriting.
  6. In 1999 I began clowning. I’ve developed two clown characters since then (a white face named Poetry and an auguste named LuLuB). I have performed live at churches and birthday parties.
  7. My children were published before me. We don’t talk about it.
  8. The scent of mulberries is guaranteed to give me a migraine.
  9. I love rap music from the 90’s.
  10. I hate licorice. I don’t even want to smell it.
